Side project

While I had the paint out for something else, I wanted to paint this little three drawer piece that I've had for a while. I got it from my aunt (hi Aunt Candye) and I new one day I would do something with it. While I'm sure at one point in it's life this color of orange was the bomb, it wouldn't cut it in my house. Finished Desk

Tah Dah! It's finished. The desk I found in the trash is now super cute and in Jacob's room. The process? Sanded, primed, painted, distressed, and sealed. I prurchased the hardware at Hobby Lobby for 50% off. The total cost of this renovation? Under $15. Pretty good! Click here to see the before picture.

One man's trash...

As some of you know, I LOVE painting. OK... some of you know I'm obsessed with painting. I acutally have been known to ask my friends what room of THEIR house needs painting can I paint. I love the quietness and art of painting, and the transformation of a room or object for a small amount of money.
